Note: Sorry, this took so long. I had school and then after that, I didn’t know what I wanted to write about. Anyway, I have posted this on AFF. Some people asked if this was a third part in one of the stories I wrote on there. If you know what I’m talking about, then the answer is no. This is a completely separate story! <3
Kiseop led Eun Mi towards the castle, her hand in his. “You should be careful, okay?” He said.
“Of what?” Eun Mi asked him.
“You don’t remember anything do you?” Kiseop asked with a sigh.
“Remember what?” She asked again.
Kiseop shook his head slightly, “Never mind, just follow me and don’t let go of my hand. It’ll be difficult to find you if you get lost.” He told her.
“Okay.” Eun Mi replied.
Kiseop took a deep breath and entered the double doors, he knew his brothers would be waiting for him to see who was walking on the grounds.
But they would hide in the shadows.
Eun Mi looked around as she saw how warped the castle was. It was strange, there were chairs on the walls and the ceiling but they weren’t falling down or moving.
They just stayed there, held by gravity or whatever kept them up there.
She must have had a confused expression on her face because Kiseop turned to her and said, “I know it’s weird and we haven’t really figure out why it’s like this either.”
“Oh. So your castle or house is just warped with gravity and you don’t know?” She asked him.
Kiseop thought about it for a second, “Yeah, pretty much.” He agreed.
“Who is that?” They both heard a voice ask them. He was hiding somewhere since they couldn’t find a face to connect it to.
“Eun Mi. She has returned.” Kiseop answered.
“Really?” Two boys popped their heads out, one definitely looking younger, the other just having a baby face.
“Yes, Dongho and Kevin.” Kiseop said, he gestured for Eun Mi to follow him. “Come along. We have to try find our way through this.”
“What do you mean by that?” Eun Mi said, as they continued walking and ending up the on the right wall, perpendicular to where they were standing moments earlier.
They walked some more and ended up on the ceiling and back down onto the floor where they were, in front of a table.
“Okay. That was strange.” Eun Mi commented.
“Well, that’s just the beginning. The paths change sometimes as well. And when that happens you have to let it take you where it wants to.” Kiseop explained.
“This is just all so different. I think I like my house having normal gravity.” She said.
Six other boys showed up in front of them at that exact moment, but hearing her words their faces fell.
“You don’t remember?” They all said sadly.
“I was trying to tell you that. But you guys were hiding.” Kiseop said to them.
The six boys looked at each other and then turned back to Kiseop, “Sorry.”
“It’s okay though, we shall play for now.” The one called Dongho earlier said.
“May I see the rest of the castle? Kiseop-ssi said that I shouldn’t wander by myself. But I want to know what the rest looks like.” Eun Mi asked.
“Yes! Of course! I’ll take you around!!” Kevin and Dongho shouted, taking both her hands and dragging her forward.
“Yah! You should let us introduce ourselves since she doesn’t remember us!” A tall brown-haired boy scolded.
“Sorry.” Kevin and Dongho apologized as all the boys lined up in front of Eun Mi.
“My name is Dongho, I’m the youngest.” He introduced himself.
“No wonder you’re so eager to play.” Eun Mi smiled at him, “I would be too.” She winked.
“I’m Kevin,” The blonde one said.
“My name is Hoon.” He had a headband in his hair and he looked really sweet.
“AJ.” The next one said simply. He looked rough, his eyebrow seemed to have a scar on it and his hair was really short in comparison to everyone else’s.
The other blonde one winked at her, “I am Eli.”
“You already know that I am Kiseop.” Kiseop repeated.
The tall brown-haired one that got everyone to settle down smiled shyly at her, “I’m Soohyun.”
“Hmm… All of this does sound rather familiar…” Eun Mi said, “But I don’t know why.”
All the boys looked at each other and then at Dongho.
“It’s okay, just stay and play with us for a while.” He said, taking her hand and leading her away.
“Are you sure about this, Soohyun?” Kiseop asked the oldest.
“Yes, I want her to remember. But I want her to do it on her own.” Soohyun told him.
“Okay then. We shall help you.”
