U-KISS: Not A Far Fantasy [Chapter 1]

Note: Here is the short first chapter of the bookworld fic:) I’m still working out some details~ But don’t expect it to be JUST one concept ;)

Chapter 1 - Have Sweet Dreams

She was searching through her library of books, looking for something interesting to read. Drumming her fingers over the titles, she finally found one that sparked her interest. It was old and ancient looking, aged pages and a gothic book binding.

Eun Mi couldn’t hear it but there were soft whispers from the book, “She’s back! She’s back!” They said cheering happily.

She sat down on her desk examining the book as it seemed new to her eyes. But the whispers were still unheard.

Eun Mi opened the book and started to read. It was very interesting.

It was the story of a young girl that ended up in a place called Neverland and she met many friends there and had brothers. She played with everyone and never went a day without smiling.

But she also had one crush, but they were both young so everyone thought it was just puppy love between them.

The girl had met with the princes of Neverland and lived in their castle. Eun Mi flipped and flipped the pages, reading more and more about this girl.

She didn’t even notice the faint shimmering dust coming off the pages. The dust turned light pink as it dispersed into the air and Eun Mi continued to breathe it in.

Her eyelids started to feel heavy, very heavy. Even though she wanted to continue reading to find out what happened to the girl in the story, she couldn’t keep her eyes open.

Her head drooped and eventually she landed on the open book with closed eyes.

She couldn’t see it, but faint cursive letters appeared on the page, as if talking to her.

Have Sweet Dreams.

It read as it faded away.
